What made you want to start coaching with 22:6 Athletics?

I love what 22:6 Athletics stands for and the fact that it brings glory to God. I also really appreciate that Bobby—and now Cody—have built a league for kids who are interested in sports but may feel nervous or unsure. For me, it’s an opportunity to serve both God and my church family in a meaningful way.

What’s your favorite part about coaching kids in this league?

I love helping kids build self-esteem and watching them grow—not just as athletes, but as teammates, friends, and followers of Jesus.

What do you hope your players take away from this season?

I hope they learn to be great teammates no matter the circumstance, to build confidence in others which in turn builds confidence in themselves, and to always give their best—win or lose. And of course, always hustle!

What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?

Fun fact: I’m actually taller than Cody! (At least I think so!)
